Please save me!
My little Munchkin (a.k.a., Baby Girl, The Girl, Get Out of My Lipglosses! Now!, Ms. Mini Fashionplate) has been sick the past few days. She caught the bug, once again, and had been feverish and miserable. She's feeling much better now. Want to know how I know? Because she:
- Dragged out all of my 500-piece puzzles, mixed up all the pieces, left a few on the kitchen table and lost one of the boxes.
- While doing her homework, she tells me that she doesn't understand what to do and asks me to explain. When I ask her if she read the directions, she gets very quiet.
- She started planning what she will be doing tomorrow, totally assuming that she'd be staying home. She's not.
- Chased the cat around the house until I threaten to tie her down to the couch.
- Followed me everywhere asking me what I'm currently doing.
- Planned a day trip that won't happen.
- Tried to sneak a bunch of Valentine's candy at 10:30 A.M.
- Whined about the vcr not working when, clearly, it does.
- Repeatedly rewound and played sections of a video until I threatened to burn it.
- Stared at me while I was eating until I asked if there was anything she needed. Found out she wanted my food instead of the meal she requested.
- And, last but not least, sang. A lot. Loudly.
1 Things You Say:
boy do I miss the kids now... I was an au pair in france for nine months last year and I miss em.. even if I did get sick every time they got sick (about every second week), even if they did want my food and even if they did mess up the puzzles and watched Peter Pan all the time...
